EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Restaurants across the nation are providing meals to families feeling the loss of SNAP benefits, including many here in the Tri-State.
10-8 Café Bar and Grill in Evansville is stepping up to take care of a special group of community members during a time of uncertainty.
“It’s unfortunate where things are, and the last thing we want to do is see children go hungry. I think it’s our part as a community to step up and help prevent that,” Bryan Bishop, President of Lawman Tactical and 10-8 Café. “You know, the people who are on these programs struggle enough as it is, and without that it’s going to make it even worse. So again, we just want to do a little bit of what we can to help.”
