GREENWICH, Conn. — In a town known for money and mansions, plenty of stories remain under the surface in Greenwich , and one of love, loss and questions make one area a hot topic for paranormal activity.

On the outside, the Bruce Museum may appear as your typical art and history museum, but local legend and reports of ghosts in nearby woods have many calling this area, one of the most haunted places in the country.

The story first starts in the late 1800s. An Irish immigrant woman worked as a maid in a nearby neighborhood, there she met a piper. The two fell in love and spent countless hours in Bruce Park near the Bruce Mansion, which later became the Bruce Museum.
