SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department asked for the public’s help in locating a missing girl.

In a post to X , SLCPD said it was searching for a missing 8-year-old. She has since been found and safely reunited with her family.

According to SLCPD, the girl had last been seen at around 6:30 p.m. near 1630 West 1700 South.

Police believe she is wearing a red and black shirt, black pants and a witch hat.

Anyone who believes they may have seen her should call 911.
