ARCHBALD, Pa. — On Saturday, kids got to show off their footwork at a soccer event in Lackawanna County . The Commissioners' Cup Youth Soccer Skills Challenge brought players from all across Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Children between the ages of 6 and 14 participated in five skills challenges, with the top 10 scorers in each division receiving medals.

Organizers say they're already thinking about how to make next year even bigger.

"We hope we're gonna grow it for each year going forward and just thinking about next year, even doing maybe a kickoff to the season to try to make it a larger event to just encourage the kids to have fun instead of always having competitive games," said Paul Bechtel of the Lackawanna County Parks and Recreation.
