Head chef Brandon Cassidy cuts the ribbon on new Food Freaks location on East Innes Street.
SALISBURY — Don’t let the cartoon ghoulish burger at 115 East Innes Street fool you this Halloween season, Food Freaks is here to stay in Salisbury starting this week. With a grand opening this weekend, Food Freaks, the popular North Carolina burger truck, is opening a brick-and-mortar location in the center of Salisbury’s downtown.
Primary chef and owner Brandon Cassidy wants people to know that this is not just his old burger and donut place. He is focused on making this new location a culinary experience for the people of Salisbury.
“Me being in the kitchen and me being able to cook is where I find my joy and my passion. I talk through my food. That’s why I’m trying not just to be the ‘burger
