Rain showers will linger around the Tennessee Valley this morning. Higher elevations may receive some sleet this morning. It will be cooler at 58 for the high with thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Lightning and gusty winds up to 25 mph are the only threats. Our western communities may receive between a third to a half of an inch or rainfall by the end of the day. Our eastern communities will be receiving less.
Tonight will be chilly at 42 with mostly cloudy skies.
Temperature highs will be in the 60s and 70s the remainder of the week with lows in the 40s and 50s.
