There were a few surprises and several of the perennial winners continued a long string of success at the North 2 sectional boys cross country races at Greystone-Central Park in Morris Plains Saturday.

For each sectional race, the top five teams in the team standings along with the top 15 individual finishers qualify for the Group Championships, which will be held at Holmdel Park on Nov. 8.
