CANYON, Texas (KTRE) - Former Diboll Lumberjack Zach Phipps caught his fifth touchdown of the year in West Texas A&M’s 53-48 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville on Saturday.
The redshirt-sophomore has four touchdown catches in his last five games.
Phipps caught a 21-yard touchdown pass with 9:12 left in the game to put the Buffaloes up 53-42.
West Texas A&M (5-4) heads to Wichita Falls on Saturday to face Midwestern State.
