EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The Michigan State volleyball team put an end to its three-game losing streak with a three-set sweep of Rutgers on Saturday night.
The Spartans defeated the Scarlet Knights by set scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 25-22.
Karolina Staniszweska led MSU with 13 kills and the team posted an attack percentage of .354, its second-highest of the season.
With the win, MSU improves to 16-6 (6-6 Big Ten) while Rutgers fall to 11-13 (2-10).
MSU heads out to the west coast for a road trip next weekend. The Spartans will play at Washington on Friday and at Oregon on Sunday.
