(7) McQuaid 21, (2) Uprep 20 (OT)
A dramatic overtime finished with the McQuaid Knights upsetting the Uprep Griffins in overtime.
A low-scoring defensive battle for much of this game. Uprep trailed 7-6 late in the fourth quarter. On third down, quarterback Gavin White escaped the pocket and went 60 yards to for the touchdown and lead. A successful two-point conversion put them ahead 14-7.
It didn't take long for McQuiad to respond, however. With just 45 seconds left, Ian Lanahan powered his way across the goal line for a short rushing touchdown to tie the game and send it to overtime.
The Knights took the opening possession of overtime. Once again, Lanahan lowered his shoulder and put the Knights ahead 21-14 with the touchdown.
On Uprep's next offensive drive, Kamari Miller showed off
