Subarnapur: A potentially disastrous incident was averted in Subarnapur district when a truck carrying Indian Gas cylinders caught fire on the Reirakhol road near Jateshinga Harihar bridge in Subarnapur on Saturday night.
The fire broke out around 9 pm, prompting a swift response from the Birmaharajpur Fire Department. Three fire tender vehicles were rushed to the scene, and the fire was successfully extinguished, preventing a major catastrophe.
The truck, bearing registration number OD-31-E6866, was reportedly en route from Reirakhol to Birmaharajpur when the incident occurred. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
