President Droupadi Murmu addressed the 2nd Convocation of the University of Patanjali, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. During her address, the President praised the women’s participation in education. Earlier, the President, on her arrival at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, was welcomed by Governor Lt. General (Retd.) Gurmit Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. From the airport, she proceeded to Haridwar to address the convocation. The President is on a three-day visit to Uttarakhand. Tomorrow, she will address a special session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in Dehradun and participate in the ceremony marking 125 years of the establishment of Nainital Raj Bhavan. On November 4, the President will visit the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram at Kainchi Dham
