Police said 10 people were hospitalised following yesterday's stabbing on a train in Huntington, with nine suffering life-changing injuries.

Witnesses described seeing "blood everywhere", with one recalling how an older man "blocked" the attacker from getting to a younger girl.

Disruption to train services is expected until at least Monday as police continue to investigate. Two people have been arrested.
