Gary Neville has shared his latest verdict on Benjamin Sesko - claiming the striker is "well off it" despite showing glimpses of his ability in Manchester United's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest .
The Slovenia international, who completed the move to Old Trafford in the summer from RB Leipzig, for an initial fee of £66.4million , is yet to show his best form. United had prioritised the signing of a striker, and Sesko was one of three attackers to arrive at the club, alongside Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha this summer.
United's first-choice target had reportedly been Viktor Gyokeres , who instead joined rivals Arsenal - his preferred destination. Sesko, meanwhile, was identified as an alternative option, having been on the club's radar since 2022.
