WA’s fight to keep its fair share of GST is ramping up, with Roger Cook and Rita Saffioti Canberra-bound for a face to face with the Prime Minister ahead of an east coast advertising blitz.

The Premier and his deputy will arrive in the nation’s capital on Monday for days of meetings with Anthony Albanese and his key ministers, where the Productivity Commission’s review into the 2018 GST distribution reforms will dominate discussions.

Mr Albanese has already promised not to roll back WA’s envious deal, which sees 75 cents for every dollar of GST raised go towards the state.
