A popular UFO-tracking platform is making waves after recording tens of thousands of mysterious underwater objects off the United States’ coastlines. According to Marine Technology News, users of Enigma, a non-partisan organisation that claims to host the “largest queryable historical sighting database for global UFO sightings”, have logged more than 9,000 unidentified underwater sightings within 10 miles of US shorelines since August 2025. The sightings, categorised as Unidentified Submersible Objects (USOs), refer to any object detected underwater that cannot be immediately identified or explained.
