ANN ARBOR, Michigan — Two of the Big Ten's top 10 rushing leaders will not be on the field Saturday night at Michigan Stadium.
Purdue football senior running back Devin Mockobee, who is just 13 yards away from becoming the fourth Boilermaker to rush for 3,000 yards in his career, is out against the Wolverines .
Opposite Purdue's sideline, Big Ten leading rusher Justice Haynes, who is averaging 7.1 yards per carry and has 857 yards on the ground, will miss the 7 p.m. kickoff.
Mockobee has five touchdowns this season, and threw another TD at Notre Dame. He is Purdue's leading rusher with 521 yards and averaging 4.2 yards per carry. He's current 328 rushing yards away from Otis Armstrong for third in Purdue history.
