Ienjoyed the feature on Pittsburgh International Airport CEO Christina Cassotis (“Hard work, smooth landing,” Oct. 26). I applaud her success in her role, and look forward to checking out the new terminal when it opens later this year. However, I sincerely hope the new facility does not embody her vision of a space where people are “bustling” and “dodging passengers.” A successful CEO, especially one in the airport management business, may enjoy that kind of “energy,” but I certainly do not.

Those “dead” concourses in the old terminal have been a blessed, welcome relief when returning home after layovers and transfers in overcrowded cattle yards in the Northeast, Chicago, or other major airports.
