A video of an India woman crying and pleading before US officers has gone viral on social claiming that she was caught shoplifting. The undated and unverified video has been widely circulated on X and the TOI could not independently verify the authenticity of the footage. The woman in the video claimed that she "forgot to pay" as she broke down and cried before the officers. Earlier this year, an Indian tourist in US was caught shoplifting items worth nearly $1,000 (approx.
