New Delhi, Nov 2: Updating Aadhaar will soon become faster and more convenient. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced sweeping reforms aimed at making the process entirely digital, eliminating the need for physical visits to enrolment centres.
Effective November 1, 2025, cardholders will be able to update key personal details such as name, address, date of birth and mobile number online. This change, according to UIDAI, is designed to enhance user convenience, security and transparency, allowing individuals to manage their Aadhaar details “with just a few clicks from home.”
