Crash closes A46 near Stoneleigh as drivers told to avoid area

Police have closed a major road after a crash in Warwickshire . It happened in the early hours of this morning (November 2).

Closures are in place on the A46 from Leaf Lane to Stoneleigh . Motorists have been urged to avoid the area.

Diversions are currently in place on the A46 , with people advised to plan their journeys in advance.

It is not yet known whether anyone is injured.

A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “Emergency services are currently in attendance near Stoneleigh following a collision.

“A road closure is currently in place on the A46 from Leaf Lane to Stoneleigh and is likely to be ongoing for several hours. Motorists are asked to please use an alternative route.”
