QUINCY — A Quincy man was arrested this week in connection with a reported vehicle burglary earlier in the month.

The Quincy Police Department reported that Perry E. Echternkamp, 32, of Quincy was arrested on Oct. 28 following an investigation into a vehicle burglary that happened Oct. 19 or 20.

On Oct. 27, QPD officers responded to the 500 block of North 16th Street for the report of the burglary. The victim stated two men came onto his property and were checking vehicle doors, finding one unlocked and money was stolen. The victim reported that the men returned several nights later and did the same thing. Both instances were caught on surveillance cameras in the area.

Additional reports were made to QPD by residents in the area whose vehicles were also reportedly entered.
