A 41-year-old man was allegedly killed by his colleague following a dispute over switching off lights at their workplace in Bengaluru in the early hours of Saturday. The incident occurred at Saraswathinagar around 1.30 am, according to the police.
The deceased was identified as Bheemesh Babu from Chitradurga, who managed a digital vault and photo-editing firm near MC Layout. The accused, Somala Vamshi, 24, a technical executive from Andhra Pradesh residing in Nayandahalli, surrendered at Govindarajanagar police station shortly after the murder, said the police.
According to the police, Babu was sensitive to bright lights and regularly requested colleagues to switch them off when unnecessary.
