Four people thought to be in a life-threatening condition after a mass stabbing on a train have been discharged from hospital.

British Transport Police (BTP) has given a major update on its investigation following an incident on an LNER train in Cambridgeshire yesterday evening (November 2).

Ten victims were rushed to hospital by ambulance while an 11th person later attended hospital by themselves, Superintendent John Loveless told reporters this morning (Sunday).

A major incident was declared following the stabbings and counter-terrorism policing has been involved in the investigation.
