India played the third T20I against Australia at the Ninja Stadium, known more commonly as Bellerive Oval. This time Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bowl first following which Australia scored 186 runs. Arshdeep Singh was the star bowler for India and was named as the ‘Player of the Match’ – he brought in early breakthroughs and took 3 wickets by giving away just 35 runs. He took some crucial wickets and dismissed Travis Head, Josh Inglis and Marcus Stoinis. Varun Chakaravarthy also shined and spun his way to pick 2 wickets, he dismissed the Aussie skipper Mitchell Marsh and Mitchell Owen.

For Australia, Tim David stole the spotlight with his dashing performance as he scored 74 runs in just 38 balls. Marcus Stoinis also joined later on and scored 64 runs which was very crucial
