NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An East Nashville non-profit is calling on the help of young artists to help them bring awareness to their kids mental health program.
Kid S.M.A.R.T. is hosting an art fundraiser and they are calling all youth artists to submit a piece with the theme of Building Connections. Kid S.M.A.R.T. brings mental health services to youth and the families who need them.
Annie Klaver’s sister, Dr. Jackie Klaver, founded the program to support kids who have limited access to high-quality mental health services as a result of economic hardship. Kid S.M.A.R.T is hosting an event at their Wilburn Street Studio with artwork from the community, activities for adults and children.
