The Seattle Seahawks (5-2) and the Washington Commanders (3-5) meet for Sunday Night Football at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's Seahawks vs. Commanders odds and tab the 5 best prop bets to win among SportsbookWire's expert NFL picks and predictions for Week 9.
The Seahawks dropped the Houston Texans 27-19 in Week 7 as a 3-point favorite prior to the team's bye week. QB Sam Darnold threw for 213 yards and 1 TD, while RB Zach Charbonnet rushed for 49 yards and 2 TDs. WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba added 8 receptions for 123 yards and a score. Seattle has won 5 of the past 6 games, while also going 5-1 against the spread (ATS) in the span.
The Commanders were belted in Kansas City on Monday night last week, 28-7, falling as a 10-point underdog, as it has failed to cover the past 3 games, while the Under is 3-1 in the past 4 outings. WR Terry McLaurin scored the only TD on a pass from QB Marcus Mariota, but Scary Terry aggravated an injury and he is out this week. While that's bad news, the good news is that QB Jayden Daniels is back this week.

Best Seahawks at Commanders prop bets

Commanders RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt UNDER 49.5 RUSHNG YARDS (-115)
The rookie simply known as "Bill" is likely to struggle against the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football.
Croskey-Merritt has tailed off a little since a red-hot start. He introduced himself to the world with 111 rushing yards and 2 TDs in Week 5 on the road against the LA Chargers. However, since that breakout game, he has averaged 3.6 yards per carry (YPC), including just 22 carries for 58 yards in the past 2 games.
Seattle has allowed just 530 rushing yards this season, good for an average of 3.3 YPC, while giving up just 2 rushing TDs and 1 run of 20+ yards. The Seahawks have allowed just 29 rushing first downs, best in the NFL. Croskey-Merritt is in line for another rough night.
SNF: Best ML, ATS and O/U bets
Commanders QB Jayden Daniels UNDER 41.5 RUSHING YARDS (-115)
We covered the suffocating rushing defense of Seahawks above. Daniels returns from a hamstring injury suffered back in Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys. He missed the MNF game against the Chiefs, too.
With Daniels returning from an injury to his legs, the Commanders would be foolish to run their franchise QB into the teeth of a Seattle rush defense that is better than anyone in the NFL. Go low on Daniels' rushing total, too.
Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet ANYTIME TOUCHDOWN (+105)
For Seattle, Charbonnet found the end zone twice last time out in Week 7 against the Texans on Monday night. He has scored 4 times in the past 4 games, and 5 times in 6 games this season.
While RB Kenneth Walker III (foot) is still in the backfield, too, Charbonnet has received at least 12 carries in 5 of his 6 games to date. Charbonnet sees a lot of work close to the goal line, too, as they try to preserve KW3, and protect the oft-injured tailback as best they can. At plus-money, Charbonnet is a good bet to score at least once.
Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba OVER 98.5 RECEIVING YARDS (-110)
Smith-Njigba will get a chance to face a Commanders passing defense which allows 8.4 yards per attempt. The Commanders have coughed up 2,087 passing yards and 27 pass plays of 20+ yards, so JSN is in good shape to a big night.
Make sure to root out the 'Receiving Yards O/U' section for Over 98.5 Yards (-110). There is actually a Receiving Yards section which lists Smith-Njigba at -135 for 100+ Yards, which makes no sense! Avoid that one, for sure.
Commanders PK Matt Gay OVER 1.5 FIELD GOALS (-110)
As is customary now, you know it's a kicker prop for the fifth play.
Gay makes it back from an injury absence. He is a strong play to get at least 2 field goals in this one. As mentioned above, the Seahawks defense is tremendous, especially against the run. When Washington bogs down in the red zone, and it's a certainly, barring a complete disaster from the Seattle D, Gay is likely to be afford several field-goal opportunities. He should be able to knock through at least 2 successful field goals.
