CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A 17-year-old was shot and killed near the Lovejoy Library on Friday night, according to the medical examiner.

The incident happened at the library located in the 1700 block of McDonough Road.

Details are limited at this time as the Clayton County Police Department continues investigating what happened.

The name of the victim has not been released.
