NEW POLL: Trump Approval Takes a Hit, Dems Open Up Big Lead On Generic Ballot

A major new poll out Sunday shows President Donald Trump has taken a hit in his approval rating, and his party is falling well behind in the race to Congress.

According to a new poll out Sunday from NBC News , the president’s approval rating currently sits at 43 percent — compared to 55 percent who disapprove of his job performance. That approval number represents a 4 percent drop from his standing in March.
