NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – The first runners have already started their 26.2-mile journey across New York City.

Soon, the first professional runners will cross the finish line in Central Park, looking to beat last year’s best of 2:07:39.

On the New York Road Runners’ website, you can see the live results and leaderboards for each running category. You can also select particular runners to track their progress throughout the race. To see live marathon results, click here.

The professional wheelchair division kicked off first at 8 a.m. Marcel Hug finished first for the men with a race time of 1:30:16. For the women, Susannah Scaroni finished in 1:42:10.
