Kuldeep Yadav has been released from the Indian T20I squad to be a part of the ongoing India A vs South Africa A series at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. Kuldeep will return home to take part in the second four-day match against South Africa, which will begin on November 6.

The BCCI release said that the decision was taken to give the spinner enough game time in red-ball cricket to get him ready for the upcoming home Test series against South Africa. Kuldeep played just two matches during the ongoing series, with the first one being a washout where he didn't get to bowl.

The 30-year-old was expensive in the second T20I but got two wickets. In the third game, Kuldeep wasn't picked as India won the match by five wickets.
