The University of Saskatchewan Huskies looked to continue their playoff dominance against the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds with a 26-7 victory on Saturday, advancing to the Hardy Cup Final.

The Huskies will now face old rivals University of Regina Rams on Nov. 8 in Saskatoon at Griffith Stadium.

Coming into the match up UBC had never won a playoff game in Saskatoon and had an 0-8 record, while the Huskies were 12-2 against the Thunderbirds in the playoffs, with the B.C. team’s last win coming in 1976.

In front of 1,806 fans, two safeties conceded by UBC in the first quarter gave the Dogs a 4-0 lead.
