Three men and two women were shot in Northeast D.C. early Sunday morning, according to D.C. police.
At 1:48 a.m., police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2300 block of Bladensburg Road in Northeast D.C. Police found five people shot on the scene.

Three men and two women were taken to a nearby hospital and they were conscious and breathing, according to police and DC Fire and EMS.
Police are looking for a gold sedan that was seen leaving the scene and police say the shooting happened outside. Fifth District police are investigating the cause of the shooting. It was not immediately known if there was one shooter or multiple shooters.
