A stretch of Interstate 95 south in northern Massachusetts is expected to be closed for several hours following a serious tractor-trailer crash on Sunday morning.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said in an email around 9:45 a.m. that I-95 south in Salisbury was closed at mile marker 90 due to an earlier crash with utility damage. They said the closure is expected to remain in place for several hours.

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes and avoid the area if possible.
