A man already facing a manslaughter charge for a fatal explosion at his Clinton Township business is separately accused of contributing to the death of a St. Clair County man in a traffic crash by illicitly providing nitrous oxide to a driver.
The estate of Garrett Allen Gingas of Algonac sued Noor Kestou and his two businesses last August on allegations they provided nitrous oxide to Joshua Andre Collier, 35, who was convicted last year of driving while intoxicated causing Gingas’ death three years ago in a St. Clair County vehicular crash after inhaling nitrous oxide he bought from an Eastpointe or Roseville tobacco store that was supplied by Kestou, according to the lawsuit.
