400 BLOCK SKYLINE DRIVE: A 19-year-old man was arrested for multiple offenses after police saw him drive onto the curb and make an illegal left-hand turn onto Highway 14-16 in a 2008 Buick in the early hours of Friday morning, Deputy Chief Brent Wasson said. Police noted multiple passengers — another 19-year-old man, a 21-year-old woman and and a 22-year-old man — well as a pair of open beer cans in the car’s cup holder. Both 19-year-olds appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, and driver smelled of alcohol. The driver agreed to undergo the field sobriety test and was arrested after a poor performance while the 19-year-old passenger was provided a portable breath test and ticketed for minor in consumption.
