Two people were left injured after a fight broke out in Coventry . It happened near the Wyken Working Mens Club.

Police were called to reports of fighting on Ansty Road at around 11.45pm on Saturday (November 1). Two people were found to have sustained injuries.

Officers arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of affray, said West Midlands Police . He remains in custody for questioning.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. Witnesses have been urged to get in touch with West Midlands Police .
