According to a letter circulating on social media, Luigi Mangione learned that there was a (phony) list of his favorite music that included Taylor Swift and Charli XCX. He said he's never really listened to their music so he downloaded some of their songs on his tablet to see what the hype was all about. He said that he was walking laps while listening to Cardigan when one of the other inmates called him over to ask what he was listening to. When this other man found out Luigi was listening to Taylor Swift, he scolded him and then replaced all of his music. Luigi said he is now listening to Lil Durk (he specifically mentioned "Dis Ain't What U Want") thanks to his prison buddy.
