A man sustained serious injuries in a crash in Warwickshire . It happened on the A46 earlier today (November 2).

Police were called to the A46 near The Stag at Redhill at around 12.30pm. Paramedics also responded and found a man seriously injured.

He was reportedly rushed to University Hospital Coventry . Closures remain in place on the A46 this evening.

A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “Emergency services are currently in attendance on the A46 by The Stag at Redhill near Alcester . Motorists are advised to please find an alternative route.”

In an update shared by Inrix at 4.50pm, it said: “A46 Alcester Road in both directions is blocked due to accident investigation work between The Piston Club and A422 Alcester Road.”
