The Barak Valley has been rocked by serious allegations of attempted murder against Rupan Modak, a well-known trader and reputed stockist of the region. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local business community and ignited widespread public concern.

According to reports, Rupan Modak allegedly attacked his wife, Anuradha Modak, with the culmination of what she describes as two decades of relentless domestic violence.

In a video message that has gone viral on social media, Anuradha accused her husband and several of his family members Meena Modak, Bonashree Modak Paul, Ritushree Modak Paul, and their cousin Balaram Roy of continuous mental and physical abuse.
