State Police sent K-9 units to northeast Rockingham County early Sunday morning to track a man accused of fleeing on foot into the woods after a rollover crash on Interstate 95.
About two hours after the initial response, special units located the driver on a utility access road adjacent to I-95 and took him into custody.
An SUV driver — later identified as Oliver Denelle, 26, of Narragansett, Rhode Island — lost control of his vehicle on I-95 northbound near Greenland "for reasons that remain under investigation" around 1 a.m. Sunday, according to a State Police news release.
The SUV entered the highway's center median, rolled into opposing traffic lanes, and ultimately came to a stop in the median in an active construction zone, officials said.
