The Toronto Blue Jays came up short in the World Series , but nobody can say they didn’t give it their all up to the end.
This was an underdog Blue Jays squad that went up against the most expensive MLB roster ever created in the LA Dodgers, and still found a way to push them to the very edge. Toronto was two outs away from winning it all, and forced L.A. to make a miracle comeback in the ninth inning to get past them.
For many, the Blue Jays were the better team during this series just because of how much they dominated the Dodgers at times. They didn’t come up with the championship in the end, that’s true, but they exemplified everything you could want from a baseball team.
