SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) -- A suspect is in custody after an hours-long SWAT standoff in South Jordan involving shots fired at police early Sunday morning, according to South Jordan Police.
At around 2 a.m. on Nov. 2, police responded to a domestic violence call in the area of 10600 S Monica Ridge Way. As officers stood outside the residence, a shot was fired from inside the home in the direction of police.
As more officers arrived, the suspect fired more shots from inside the residence. Police issued a shelter-in-place order to neighboring homes as South Valley SWAT arrived on scene to take over operations.
