New slo-mo footage shows the exact moment that CJ Stroud slammed his head into the turf in the second quarter of the Houston Texans-Denver Broncos game, and it’s very difficult to watch.

On a 3rd-and-8 play in Texans territory, CJ Stroud tried running up the middle for a first down with none of his receivers open. Kris Abrams-Draine of the Broncos delivered a crushing hit to Stroud, keeping him short of the first down.

The officials threw a flag on the play, but later picked it up after it was determined to be a clean hit from Abrams-Draine.
