INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Defensive tackle John Ridgeway was a late scratch for the New Orleans Saints' Week 9 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Shortly before Sunday's game, the Saints downgraded Ridgeway to questionable for the game with an illness. He was ultimately included among the team's inactive players for Sunday's game.

Ridgeway only recently returned to the lineup from injured reserve, making his season debut last week against the Buccaneers.

There were no other surprises. The three starters who were questionable for the game — Alvin Kamara (ankle), Rashid Shaheed (hip) and Alontae Taylor (shoulder) — are all active.
