KENNEWICK, Wash. – A 35-year-old Kennewick man was arrested at around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday after entering his ex-girlfriend’s apartment armed with a knife, according to the Kennewick Police Department.
KPD said the man assaulted both his ex-girlfriend and another man who was inside the apartment. They were both treated at a local hospital for their injuries.
Officers located the male suspect at his home “a short time later,” KPD said. He was arrested and booked on charges of first-degree burglary (domestic violence), two counts of second-degree assault, and malicious mischief (domestic violence).
“We appreciate our community’s continued support in helping keep our neighborhoods safe,” KPD said.
