Sports fans from across Canada were tuned into the winner-takes-all World Series game between the Jays and the LA Dodgers. It dominated the attention of fans across all sports, which meant that everything else going on in the sporting world took a bit of a backseat on Saturday night.

The Oilers seemed to understand this as well, as they were broadcasting a live feed of the Blue Jays game on the Rogers Place jumbotron while the team was playing against the Chicago Blackhawks.
