It’s time to get those fours up above your heads again, folks, because we’re heading to the final quarter of play in Detroit with your Minnesota Vikings holding a 24-17 lead over the Detroit Lions.
The Vikings got the ball coming out of the locker room at halftime and pushed out to midfield, but wound up punting it away after a pass from J.J. McCarthy to Jalen Nailor on third down fell incomplete. The Vikings punted it away to the Lions, but the Lions’ offense then put together a three-and-out and gave the ball right back to Minnesota.
