BROOKS COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - A man has reportedly died following a single-vehicle crash that occurred at about 8 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2 in Brooks County. The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is investigating.

According to GSP, the crash was just before 8 a.m. on Dixie Road near Winter Road.

Through their investigation, GSP found that a black Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west on Dixie Road. The driver, Marvin Chappell, came upon a curve in the road and briefly went onto the north shoulder.

Chappell then over-corrected his steering and drove across Dixie Road, GSP said. The Silverado went into the ditch on the south side of Dixie Road and flipped several times.
