The brother of a prominent Sydney developer was allegedly kidnapped by an “underworld gang” from outside his home in the city’s west before being recovered alive after a secret police operation.

A former gangster took to social media on Thursday, pleading for unknown culprits to release George Ayoub, the brother of Masscon founder Charlie Ayoub.

Videos posted by TikTok user Triggz, real name Peter Vaiusu, said he got a call from a distressed Charlie Ayoub at 6am on Thursday.

“He got kidnapped this morning, he has never been in trouble in his life, never had a criminal record, never been involved with gangs,” the self-described ex-gangster claimed.

“But they nabbed him this morning because his brother, Charlie, has a little bit of money.”
